Celebrating Student Excellence & Achievement

At Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, we believe education is a vital part of discipleship. Guided by our foundational scripture, Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it,” we pause on “Student Recognition Sundays” to celebrate the growth and progress of our students.

 

Through EGM Student Recognition Sundays, we honor not only academic success, but also athletic dedication, musical gifting, leadership, service, and character. Because at BBIC, success is not just what our students achieve, but it’s about our students becoming “M.O.R.E” like Christ. EGM is committed, as a church, to educating, equipping, and empowering students to live purpose-driven lives, MORE to Love-Live-Lead their generation for God.

 

Parent Participation & Student Recognition Process

• Submit Student Information: Parents complete the EGM Student Recognition Form, providing student photo & details of their student’s achievements in academics, athletics, music, leadership, & service. Send to Leader: Shirley Lowry at shirleylowry15@gmail.com and cc: Nikki Bostick at mrsshobo2.04@gmail.com
   

• Attach Supporting Documentation
  Provide supporting proof when applicable (report cards, award notices, letters from coaches or instructors, programs, or brief written summaries of accomplishments).

• Must Meet Submission Deadlines
  All information must be submitted by the announced deadline to ensure proper review, verification, and inclusion in the upcoming Recognition Sunday.

• EGM Review & Confirmation
  The EGM Leadership Team reviews all submissions for completeness and alignment, then confirms recognition details with parents prior to the service.

​

• Recognition Day Participation
  Parents ensure their student is present, prepared, and attentive on Recognition Sunday to participate fully in the celebration and acknowledgment during worship.
